Captain's Words exists to help children with dyslexia and reading difficulties build literacy confidence through emotionally safe, adaptive, and engaging learning experiences.
The goal is not simply to teach words — it is to help children remain emotionally connected to learning long enough to improve.
Vision statement¶
Learning should feel like exploration, not punishment.
"I can help people because I can read."
Narrative framing (June 2026)¶
Follow Grandpa's path, not Find Grandpa. Grandpa is the thread that connects the world — not necessarily the final destination.
